In March 2020, after almost 30 years as a graphic designer, I was jolted awake by the events of our times. A global pandemic, a racial reckoning, and political unrest all boiling at once. But worse than all of these things, the chaotic misinformation, disinformation, and deliberate ignorance. Graphic Design is only effective if it is able to communicate, but in our current state, more data, facts, and words have no meaning. Logic, science, and reason have been willfully rejected, leaving nonsense and irrationality as my only form of protest.
